In July 2021, my partner and I purchased two Samsonite Guardıt Classy model (SKH1) laptop backpacks in Navy Blue and Gray (Beige color). Unfortunately, our experience with these backpacks has been far from satisfactory. After just 6 months, the top handle of one backpack broke, and we had to fix it ourselves because the warranty process was too time-consuming. Then, the water bottle compartments on both backpacks started to deform due to the delicate elastic mesh material tearing easily. When we reached out to the Emaar Samsonite branch for help, they acknowledged that this issue is quite common and even had other bags for the same problem for warranty repairs, highlighting a manufacturing defect. The real frustration came when we learned that spare parts, especially the elastane net, were not available. We couldn't ascertain if the warranty had expired, but the lack of spare parts and support left us feeling abandoned. Today, the same backpack is being sold at an exorbitant price, but we feel deceived by Samsonite's supposed quality and service.
