I am absolutely furious with Media Markt and Roborock! Exactly one year ago, I purchased a Roborock S8 Sonic from Media Markt. Now, the water tank has spontaneously cracked and is leaking water! I immediately sent it to service.
To my absolute shock, the service inspection claimed the water tank cracked because "scent was added to the water." This explanation is completely illogical and utterly ridiculous. How can a scent additive cause a plastic tank to crack? Because of this absurd excuse, they've voided the warranty on the new water tank and are demanding a whopping ₺2,800 for the repair!
I refused their outrageous demand and asked for my vacuum back. I made it clear that I will pursue legal action, as I do not accept them voiding the warranty on a device that showed no prior damage, especially for such a flimsy reason. It's preposterous to pay ₺28,000 for a product and then have its warranty dismissed with such flimsy excuses. I will be fighting for my rights through every consumer protection agency and relevant institution. Roborock and Media Markt, you need to honor your warranty and replace this defective water tank immediately!
