On February 12, I purchased a Roborock Saros 10 robot vacuum cleaner from Vatan Computer (Bornova branch) for approximately $2,400 (Invoice No: bor2026000007240, Product No: rapvbr5460**33). On the same evening the product was delivered, when we first operated it, we noticed that it was making an unusually loud and disturbing mechanical noise during operation. Despite being a brand-new device, this excessive noise makes it unsuitable for its intended use.
The next day, I went to the Bornova Vatan Computer store to return the product. However, they refused the return because the box had been opened and stated that a service report was required, directing me to Recci Teknoloji service center in Istanbul. After approximately one month, on March 15, the product was returned to me. In their report, the service center claimed that there was no defect or issue with the product and stated that a return was not possible.
When we unpacked and checked the product again at home, we noticed scratches on the device. Upon running it again, it was even noisier than before. This clearly indicates that the product qualifies as a “defective product” under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502. Despite this, both Vatan Computer and the authorized Roborock service provider, Recci Teknoloji, continue to cause me inconvenience and fail to resolve the issue.
For the reasons stated above, I request that the sale of this defective product be canceled and that I receive a full refund. Additionally, I request compensation for the inconvenience caused by the prolonged process, as my application to the Consumer Arbitration Committee has been delayed for over a month due to waiting for the service report.
