I was supposed to receive money through Remitly yesterday, but it hasn’t shown up in my account yet. What should I do?

If you were waiting for a Remitly transfer that hasn't come yet, check the progress of the transfer first. When you go to your "Transfer History" page in your Remitly account, see if the transaction is marked as "Delivered" or "In Progress."

If the status says "Delivered" but the money isn't in your account, check with your bank or other financial institution. Processing times can be different, and it may take some banks longer to post foreign transfers. Make sure your account doesn't have any holds or problems that could cause the deposit to be late.

If the state of the transfer is "In Progress" or if your bank doesn't see the deposit, you can get help from Remitly's customer service. Give them the transfer reference number and any other information that will help them with their study.

To avoid delays in the future, make sure that all information about the receiver, including their bank account information, is correct when you start a transfer. Check your email and Remitly account often for information on the status of your transfers, and stay in touch with both Remitly and your bank so that any problems can be fixed quickly.
