On November 17, my son sent $1,500 to my Yapı Kredi bank account in Turkey from the United States using Remitly. As of today, November 21, the money still has not been credited to my account and does not appear in the system.
When we contacted Remitly, they said the transfer was completed and that there is no issue on their end. However, when we spoke with Yapı Kredi, they stated that the funds have not reached them. I am stuck between the two parties and experiencing serious inconvenience. We do have Remitly’s transaction and reference number, which I can provide if requested.
I am requesting that Remitly urgently ensure the $1,500 sent on November 17 is deposited into my Yapı Kredi account and that I be given a clear and transparent explanation regarding the cause of this delay.
