Remitly Delayed €20 Transfer and Keeps Changing Delivery Date

On March 20, 2026, at 10:57 AM, I sent €20 from my ING account in the Netherlands to my Ziraat Bank account (Izmir Bornova branch, Turkey) via the Remitly app. An additional €3 transfer fee was charged, and the transaction reference number is r36166493515. However, despite several days passing, the money has still not reached my Ziraat Bank account, and the estimated delivery date shown in the app keeps getting pushed back.

When I contacted Remitly customer service about this delay, they told me the issue was not on their end and blamed it on public holidays in Turkey. However, even after the holiday period ended, the money still has not been credited to my account, and there is no clear or fixed delivery date shown in the app.

Due to this uncertainty and inconvenience, I request that both the €20 I sent and the €3 transfer fee be refunded to me. I also request a clear and written explanation regarding the cause of this delay.
