A friend of mine sent me money from the United States through Remitly, choosing to transfer it in ₺ (Turkish Lira). While the Remitly app clearly shows that the transfer was completed and marked as delivered, the funds have not reached my bank account. This situation is both confusing and extremely frustrating.
I have checked and double-checked with my bank—there is no pending or incoming transaction. The Remitly platform claims everything is fine on their end, but clearly, that is not the case. Where is the money? This isn’t a minor issue; it involves real funds and an urgent need for resolution.
I am demanding immediate assistance and a proper investigation into where the money is. I trusted Remitly with this transaction based on their advertised speed and reliability, but now I’m left waiting without any funds or support. This delay is unacceptable, especially when the app claims the money has already been deposited.
Remitly must act now to trace the transaction, provide an update, and ensure the money is delivered without any further excuses or delays. If this is not resolved promptly, I will not hesitate to escalate the matter through consumer protection channels.
