Remitly Transfer Not Received at First Citizens Bank

On February 2, 2026, I used the Remitly app to send €296 to my bank account at First Citizens Bank, Point Fortin branch in Trinidad and Tobago. As of February 27, 2026, this money has still not reached my account, even though Remitly claims that the funds were delivered. The reference number for this transaction is R206309348522. I contacted Remitly customer service on February 18, 2026, to report that the funds had not arrived. They informed me that an investigation was carried out and that my bank had supposedly received the money. However, my account has never been credited with this amount. To prove this, I sent them a current bank statement showing that no such deposit was made up to today’s date. Despite this clear evidence, Remitly continues to insist that the funds were delivered and has been giving me the runaround instead of providing a concrete solution. I find this situation very frustrating and concerning, as I am left without my money and without a clear explanation of where it is. I request that Remitly urgently trace this transfer again with my bank and provide clear proof of where and when the funds were credited. If the funds are not correctly credited to my First Citizens Bank Point Fortin account by Friday, I expect a full refund of the €296 without further delay.
