On March 27, 2025, I booked my brother a confirmed Qatar Airways flight (A250228732751) from Esenboğa Airport to Riyadh, with a layover in Qatar. He had a valid ticket, confirmed reservation, Saudi Arabia residency permit, and documented proof of entry and exit. Despite presenting all of these at check-in, he was denied boarding on the grounds that he didn’t have a visa—something that was not required based on his status and travel documents.
This decision was unjust and completely unfounded. Qatar Airways staff provided no clear explanation and insisted he couldn’t board solely due to the supposed lack of a visa, ignoring the fact that his residency and travel status allowed for legal entry.
As a result, my brother missed his flight, and we incurred a financial and emotional loss. I am requesting a full refund for the ticket immediately. Qatar Airways must take responsibility for this mistake and ensure their ground staff are properly informed of international entry rules to avoid further mistreatment of passengers. I demand prompt action and reimbursement.
