I had a round-trip ticket with Qatar Airways from Istanbul to Doha to Narita Tokyo, but they refused to let me board. Despite having a passport valid for over six months until 2030, hotel reservations for a night in Japan, my stay address, and an invitation letter, they demanded a 69-day accommodation reservation. Even though my documents were complete and ready in a file, I wasn't cleared for boarding, and no refund or assistance was provided. As a result, I had to purchase a new ticket from Turkish Airlines, reach Japan, and complete my visa procedures. I'm currently in Japan, and Qatar Airways has left me stranded and hasn't refunded the ticket cost. I'm filing complaints where necessary, requesting appropriate action, and seeking information and a response.
