On September 5, 2025, I flew with Qatar Airways on flight QR 320 from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Doha. Despite holding a Business Class ticket, I and my family were denied lounge access. My PNR and ticket details are attached.
At check-in, I specifically asked about the lounge card, and the staff clearly informed me that my Business Class boarding pass would be sufficient and that no additional card was required. However, at the lounge entrance, the staff refused to let us in, stating that an extra lounge card was necessary. As a result, both my wife, my child, and I were left standing outside.
This situation was particularly frustrating because:
I had experienced the same problem before, yet I was once again misinformed by Qatar Airways staff,
We were denied the very privileges promised to Business Class passengers,
Despite repeated calls to the Ankara Esenboğa office, no one ever answered the phone.
This unacceptable experience not only damaged my trust in Qatar Airways but also negatively impacted the comfort of our family trip.
I am requesting that Qatar Airways conduct a full investigation into this issue, provide an appropriate resolution and compensation for the inconvenience caused, and ensure that such miscommunication and denial of services will not happen again.
