PUBG Mobile User Tricked My Child - I Want My Account Secured
On 05/05/2025 in Gaziantep, while my 12-year-old son was playing PUBG Mobile on his Android phone, he was deceived by another user in the game who obtained his phone number, and immediately afterward, with SMS confirmation, about ₺1,800 plus additional charges totaling around ₺2,000 was billed to our postpaid line. As soon as we noticed the issue, we contacted our operator, but they informed us that mobile payments cannot be permanently disabled and may be reactivated in such cases. We also contacted PUBG Mobile officials and the app store, but they stated that a refund was not possible and that the identity of the responsible person could not be shared. Following this incident, we disabled mobile payments, deleted the game, and changed the phone number, but our grievance has not been resolved. To prevent similar incidents from happening to others, we request stronger measures to be taken. We demand a refund, the permanent deactivation of mobile payments, the complete removal of in-game chat for children, the identification and punishment of the user who caused this problem, and stricter security measures. We urgently request support from the authorities to resolve our grievance.
