Prime Video Charged My Card Multiple Times Without Activating Membership
On November 26 at 11:51 PM, while trying to purchase a Prime Video subscription, I entered my Ziraat Bank debit card information to complete the payment. Although I received a “Transaction not approved” message, the same amount was deducted from my account multiple times, and no subscription was activated.
When I checked my account activity, I noticed that a total of $9 had been withdrawn from my card in five separate charges of $2 each, labeled as “amznprımetr 1.” Despite this, no active subscription appears on my Prime Video account, and I did not receive any email or in-app notification regarding these payments. At this point, I have no subscription, yet money has been taken from my card.
I request that Prime Video issue a full refund of the $9 withdrawn from my card as soon as possible. I also ask that a system-level review be conducted to prevent this issue from happening again and that my complaint be officially recorded.
