Honor MagicPad 2 Keyboard Case Defect and Warranty Complaint
I am extremely disappointed with the Honor MagicPad 2 tablet and its original keyboard case, which I purchased from Honor Türkiye with great excitement. Instead of receiving proper support, I have experienced a complete lack of accountability, dismissive customer service, and an inability to reach anyone willing to take responsibility. After everything that has happened, I have lost all enthusiasm for the device and have become thoroughly dissatisfied with the product.
This tablet is less than a year old, has fewer than 50 battery cycles, is technically in like-new condition, and is still covered by its two-year legal warranty. Despite taking excellent care of it, I cannot find a single authorized representative willing to stand behind the product. The scissor mechanism and clips beneath the Up Arrow key on the original keyboard case have developed what appears to be a recurring manufacturing defect, causing the key to become loose and fail to sit properly in place. The key slides from side to side, becomes unstable when pressed, and sometimes gets stuck. Rather than resolving this defective accessory under warranty, your customer service team avoids taking responsibility.
Another major issue concerns the availability of the original Honor Magic Pencil 3 stylus. When I wanted to replace the stylus I had lost by purchasing another one at my own expense to complete the device ecosystem, I discovered that it was unavailable through official channels. Even worse, I received no proper guidance on how to obtain it. Instead of offering a solution, your customer service and support teams tell me to visit physical stores and search for the product myself, effectively sending me from one store to another and dismissing my concerns.
You sell a flagship device but cannot provide warranty support for its accessories or supply replacement parts even when customers are willing to pay for them. Despite offering a quality display panel and effective marketing, your failure to stand behind your products, inadequate service quality, and practice of passing customers from one department or location to another have made me consider selling the device and avoiding this brand altogether.
My requests are clear. First, I demand that my defective keyboard case, which is still covered by warranty and is now limiting the usability of my device, be replaced with an identical new unit under warranty without further delay. Second, I expect you to stop dismissing my concerns and provide a clear, official, and verifiably stocked purchasing channel for the Honor Magic Pencil 3 stylus, which I am willing to buy at my own expense. Finally, I expect a senior representative authorized by your head office to contact me directly and take ownership of this case.
Otherwise, I will exercise all my legal rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and initiate proceedings before the Consumer Arbitration Committee through the TÜBİS system, supported by my invoices and device records. I will also continue to raise awareness of the problems I have experienced with this brand across relevant platforms until the matter is addressed.
