Lost My Progress in Kena Bridge of Spirits—Is There Any Way to Recover It?

I was about 65% through Kena: Bridge of Spirits when I decided to explore the open world to level up my character before an upcoming boss fight, which a friend mentioned. Unfortunately, the game got stuck at one point, so I went to the save files to switch saves. However, I accidentally loaded the first save, and now, even though my progress shows 65% on my PlayStation 5, the game starts from the beginning. I tried switching saves again, but it still only shows the start of the game. Were my 7 hours of progress all for nothing?
