Sony Keeps Raising PlayStation Plus Prices With No Real Explanation

I have been a PlayStation Plus subscriber for a long time, and Sony's recent steep and repeated price increases have caused me serious frustration. What used to be a very reasonable subscription fee has now climbed to approximately $153 following the latest hikes. I have not seen any explanation from Sony that adequately justifies how often these increases are happening or why. PlayStation Plus has become an essential service for many players, yet this pricing approach is making it increasingly out of reach. Price hikes this aggressive are pushing away loyal users and turning people off from the service altogether.
