PSN Live Chat Keeps Routing to a Bot That Never Connects You to a Real Agent

June 27 2:06 PM

I have a PlayStation Network account registered to my Gmail address. I created it roughly one to two years ago and wasn't actively using it, but now that I want to buy a PlayStation and start playing, I can't get back in. My password isn't being accepted, and when I try to reset it and go through the security steps, the system won't accept my date of birth either.
For three days I have been trying to reach Sony support. Despite attempting live chat multiple times, I keep getting routed to an AI bot that stalls me without ever connecting me to a real representative. For example, on Friday around 2:00 PM it told me it would connect me — but never did. The system said agents would be available on Saturday, yet here I am on Saturday and I still can't reach anyone. I couldn't find an email address to contact them through, and there's no web form either.
All I want is for my account to be reviewed and my access restored. I am asking that my ownership be verified through methods such as sending a confirmation code to my Gmail address or asking security questions, so that I can reset my password and log back into my PlayStation Network account. If I can't get back into my account, I am seriously considering not buying a PlayStation at all. I am requesting that Sony reach out to me through a real human representative and resolve this issue.
