METRO Bus Broke Down Twice Causing a 4-Hour Delay

On 26.06.2026 at 12:30, my spouse and I traveled with Metro Turizm from Marmaris to Istanbul, in seats 34 and 35, with tickets purchased via Obilet.com. During this journey, the bus broke down twice on the road and we had to wait for more than 3 hours in total on the highway. In addition, we were kept waiting for another 30 minutes because the company had taken the wrong passenger on board and tried to resolve this issue. Due to these problems, we arrived home in the morning instead of at night as planned, with at least a 4-hour delay, and spent the whole journey under stress and uncertainty. We contacted both Metro Turizm and Obilet customer service, and were told that they would get back to us within 15 business days and that they do not make ticket refunds. We do not find it acceptable that all this loss of time and the stress we experienced are met only with an apology. For a journey for which we paid a total of ₺4,000, I request a full refund of the ticket fee and a clear explanation regarding the disruptions we experienced.
