Epic Games Deleted 11 Hours of My Cyberpunk 2077 Progress Without Warning

I purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through Epic Games about 3–4 days ago and spent approximately 18 hours playing. But when I relaunched the game, I was shocked to find that only 7 hours of my progress had been saved. The remaining 11 hours of gameplay were completely wiped—all because of Epic Games’ flawed cloud sync system.
This is absolutely unacceptable for a long, story-driven game like Cyberpunk 2077. The platform provides no clear information about when it saves, where the saves are stored, or even what the save limits are. Their system seems to arbitrarily delete progress without giving any warning or prompt, making it totally unreliable.
I contacted Epic Games support and explained everything in detail. Unfortunately, their response was entirely unhelpful—they couldn’t restore my data, nor did they provide any real solution. My time, effort, and immersion were erased in an instant.
A platform this popular should not have such a broken save system. Epic clearly lacks the infrastructure for large-scale, narrative games. Until they fix this, I’ll think twice before buying anything else from them. I urge Epic Games to take responsibility and fix their cloud save issues immediately.
