Pegasus Airlines Couldn't Fix Name Mistake on the Ticket
I bought a flight from Izmir to Ankara on July 4, 2023, from Pegasus. The flight was for July 9, 2023. I used my own credit card and gave my name, T.R. ID number, and date of birth through the Pegasus mobile app on my friend's phone. But when I tried to check in online a day before the flight, I found that all the information on the ticket, including the ID number, was mine, but the ticket itself was in the name of my friend, whose account I used on the application. called customer service right away and told them what happened, making sure to stress that I had double-checked and put in my own name and information. To my disappointment, they said that I was to blame for the mistake and wouldn't fix it. They did tell me I could cancel the ticket if I wanted to, but it would cost a ridiculous 362 TL. Taking advantage of the fact that I needed a ticket at the last minute, they resold it for 1,500 TL and made a profit of 2,100 TL from just one ticket. seriously demotivated about how Pegasus handled the whole situation. They totally won't admit they were wrong and, like, they even made money from it. It just goes to show they don't have any integrity. I can't recommend Pegasus anymore, and I won't use their services again. Just not worth it, you know?
