Pegasus Airlines Damaged My Baggage and Ignored My Complaints




My luggage was damaged on a Pegasus flight from Adana to Istanbul on July 13, 2023. The Pegasus office contacted me directly and informed me that a truck had run over my bag. Inside, I had my clothes, personal belongings, and, most importantly, my phone in a shattered box. They gave me a new suitcase and told me to communicate with them via email. The employees assured me that they would refund all of my purchases, including the phone. Despite days of emails, I was only able to provide a single clothing receipt worth 160 TL as proof of purchase. They completely ignored my phone inquiries and refused to respond. They only accepted the price I claimed for the clothing and demanded my bank information. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that no refunds would be given for anything other than the clothes. They not only damaged my belongings, but they also left me helpless and refused to assist me. I will file a formal complaint with all relevant authorities!
