Pegasus Airlines Charges for Water on International Flights
I would like to report an issue I experienced on Pegasus Airlines’ London–Izmir flight on March 4, 2026. Despite the long flight duration and the extended time spent at the airport, I learned that passengers are not provided with free water on international flights, and that water is only available for purchase.
When I asked the cabin crew for water, they specifically stated that complimentary water is only provided on domestic flights, and that no free water service is offered on international routes.
In today’s conditions, even very short and low-cost bus journeys offer passengers free water. Therefore, charging for such a basic necessity on a long international flight feels inappropriate and does not reflect a customer-oriented approach.
Considering that everything at airports, including water, is already very expensive, it is not acceptable that passengers’ most basic need—drinking water—is not provided free of charge during the flight.
I request that Pegasus Airlines review this policy and provide at least complimentary drinking water on all flights, without distinguishing between domestic and international routes.
