Oppo A74 Service Delays, Inadequate Solutions, and Consumer Rights Struggle

I returned my Oppo A74 phone to the Ankara KVK authorized dealer on May 29, 2023, for the resolution of certain issues that arose during the warranty period. They kept me waiting, claiming they needed a part. They said that if the part didn't arrive within 10 days, they'd give me a basic phone as a temporary solution. As you might expect in this day and age, a basic phone does not support WhatsApp, navigation, or any other essential functions. This is what they thought was appropriate for us, customers. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, they simply stated that they couldn't help me and that Oppo provided such phones. Despite the passage of 20 working days, I received a message on July 10th stating that the part had arrived and that it would be delivered this week. Even the delivery date, however, is uncertain. If a phone hasn't been delivered by the service center after 20 working days, the consumer can request a refund or an exchange for the same model, according to Consumer Rights. As a result, I contacted Oppo's customer service and requested an exchange. They claimed they couldn't do so and suggested that I use my right to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board if I so desired. They appear to believe that I will not bother going there and dealing with the hassle. They are mistaken because I will not only go there, but I will also file a claim for compensation for my distress. I will never again recommend Oppo to anyone in my circle.
