About two months ago, I bought the Oppo Reno 11 FS, hoping for a smooth and reliable smartphone experience. Unfortunately, just a few days after purchasing the device, I began to experience frequent keyboard lag and freezing issues. These issues got progressively worse over time, making it frustrating to use the phone even for basic tasks.
I contacted Oppo’s authorized support via WhatsApp three times:
First contact: They advised me to reset keyboard data. I followed their instructions and the issue temporarily disappeared—but only for 2 days.
Second contact: They recommended a full factory reset. I did that too. Again, the issue came back after a few days.
Third contact: I asked for a return or replacement. However, after inspecting the device, the service center denied the return, citing a small dent near the charging port that they claimed was due to impact.
Even though they said the dent disqualifies me from a refund or replacement, they performed a software update and reset. It worked for 4–5 days, but the keyboard lag and system freeze issues have returned and are just as bad as before.
I’m highly disappointed with the performance of a brand-new device and the lack of a lasting solution. I request that Oppo provide a permanent fix or consider offering a replacement device since this issue has clearly persisted despite following every instruction.
