Yesterday (March 15, 2023), I bought a Nestle chocolate bar only to find out that it was spoiled. How can a product like chocolate, which is not even known for spoiling easily, be sold in such a condition? Do we need to open packaged items before buying them to inspect them? It's quite strange that despite following the expiration date on the package, we still have to worry about spoiled products. I'm really disappointed with this situation and would really like Nestle to investigate why their product was spoiled even though it wasn't expired yet. We shouldn't have to fear or second guess if what we buy is going to be safe to eat or not. For something as simple as a chocolate bar, I don't think anyone should ever have to go through this experience, especially when there is no need for an extra layer of inspection due to its expiration date not having passed yet.
