Nespresso Store Took Back Gift Mug but Never Issued Refund
On 10 May, I went to the Nespresso Akasya store in Istanbul to exchange a Nespresso mug I had received as a gift. I was willing to pay the price difference for another product. However, the staff informed me that exchanges were not possible, took back the mug, and told me they would refund the amount to me via bank transfer (IBAN). The value of the mug was ₺800. Despite this clear commitment, 20 days have passed and I still have not received any refund. It is almost impossible to reach the store by phone, and I have called a total of 5 times. Each time, I was told that I would be called back, but I have never received any return call or concrete information. On 11 June I made my last call about this issue and the situation remains unresolved. I am very disappointed that a brand and store like Nespresso is holding on to ₺800 and not fulfilling a simple refund promise, and that customer service is so unresponsive. I request that my refund for the mug handed over at the Akasya store be made to my bank account without any further delay and that I be informed in writing once the transaction is completed.
