My baby is just 3 months old, and I initially trusted Mustela products completely. I was using their shampoo, lotion, and other skincare items, hoping to manage some light eczema that had started on my baby's feet. But to my dismay, the more I used these products, the worse things got. The eczema spread aggressively all over my baby’s body.
Despite frequent moisturizing and gentle care, nothing helped. The Mustela shampoo and lotion didn’t soothe my baby’s skin—they made it worse. I can’t begin to express how heartbreaking it is to watch your infant become more uncomfortable after using products you thought were safe and high-quality.
I used to be a loyal customer and bought everything from this brand. But after this experience, I’ll never use Mustela again. I urge the company to take a hard look at its formulas and investigate possible allergens or irritants. Babies deserve gentle, healing products—not ones that trigger flare-ups and increase discomfort. Please take responsibility and offer a resolution for parents who trusted you and now feel betrayed.
