Maya Mobile Charged My Card $49.99 Without Authorization

On September 2, 2026, a $49.99 charge was made to the card linked to my VakıfBank account in the name of Maya Mobile without my knowledge or authorization. The transaction was not made using the physical card and appears in my banking app as an online transaction/authorization.

I have never had a membership, subscription, trial, or any other business relationship with Maya Mobile. Despite this, the fact that my card information was used without my permission to make this transaction is extremely concerning to me.

As soon as I noticed the transaction, I contacted VakıfBank, reported that the charge had been made without my authorization, and had my card canceled. The bank informed me that I needed to submit a written dispute request the following day, and I will be initiating that process.

I request information about how and through what means my card information was used by Maya Mobile, that this transaction be canceled immediately and the $49.99 charged to my card be refunded, and that all necessary investigations be conducted to protect my personal information and data security.
