Massimo Dutti Refused to Alter My Jacket Sleeves After Assuring It Was Possible

When I purchased a full-priced jacket during the summer season at the Massimo Dutti Akmerkez store, I was told that I could have the sleeve length adjusted later. Two months later, in September, when the weather became suitable to wear the jacket, I went back to the same store to have the sleeves shortened. However, the staff informed me that, as a rule, they only alter pant hems and do not adjust sleeve lengths.

I expressed my surprise, explaining that it was the first time I had encountered such a policy at one of the brand’s most prominent stores and that I intended to file a complaint. Despite this, their only response was, “That’s our policy.”
