Massimo Dutti T-Shirts Damaged After First Wash and Store Refused Refund
I bought three t-shirts from Massimo Dutti on the same day. One of them shrank, another tore under the arm, and the third developed a yellowish stain on the chest area that looked like a sunburn mark. All of these issues occurred after wearing them just once.
I took the t-shirts to the store, and the staff told me they would contact me within 10 days. I waited, but on the 11th day, I had to call them myself, only to be told that my complaint was rejected. They said I should have brought the products without washing them. However, when I previously brought a product to Zara, they specifically told me to wash it first — and since it’s the same company group, I followed the same logic and washed the t-shirts on the machine’s delicate hand-wash cycle.
Each t-shirt cost at least ₺1,200, and it’s unacceptable that they became unwearable after just one wash. I paid ₺4,000 for three t-shirts that I could only wear once. I request a full refund for these defective items.
