2023 Lexus RX350h Warranty Does Not Cover Roadside Help

April 23, 2025 1:04 AM1

Our 2023 RX350h, with only 21,000 km on it, would not start while parked in front of our home, so we called Lexus Roadside Assistance and requested a service team. We were shocked by the response. Even though our vehicle is still under its legal warranty, we were told that roadside assistance is a paid service.

Despite repeatedly stating that my vehicle is still under warranty, I was told, “Yes, your warranty is active, but roadside assistance must be purchased separately on an annual basis, or you need to pay for this service now.” Lexus promotes that they would even send a helicopter if you were stranded on a mountain—would you also charge the price of a car for that helicopter service?
