On August 21, 2025, I purchased a La Roche-Posay Gel Micro Peeling 200 ml product through Amazon, and today it was delivered to my address in Manisa Yunusemre (Order No: 402-8282953-4477956).
When I opened the package, I immediately noticed something unusual: only the cap of the bottle was wrapped in stretch film, while the rest of the bottle had no safety seal, protective band, or full shrink wrap. This raised serious concerns about the product’s authenticity and safety.
I scanned the QR code printed on the bottle, and it redirected me to the official La Roche-Posay website, which suggests it could be genuine. However, given that premium skincare products are typically sealed with more reliable packaging for consumer safety, I am still not fully confident about its authenticity.
For this reason, I have not opened or used the product yet. I am requesting an official explanation from La Roche-Posay regarding whether this packaging is consistent with their standards. If necessary, I would also like to be guided on any additional verification methods to confirm authenticity before using it on my skin.
Customers should not be left uncertain about whether their skincare products are original, especially when purchased from a trusted platform like Amazon. I expect clear guidance and reassurance on this matter.
