For years I have been using La Roche-Posay Anthelios Uvmune 400 SPF 50+ face sunscreen, but for about a year and a half, I have been experiencing a serious quality problem; every product I buy has been defective. The texture of the product looks as if it has curdled milk, it comes in a grainy and non-homogeneous form, and it also has an incredibly bad smell that it never had before. When I applied it to my skin, it caused a strange discoloration, so I stopped using the product because I did not feel it was safe. When I called the company about the issue, I was told that the product could only be returned to the place of purchase. I am experiencing the same problem with products I purchased from different pharmacies in Turkiye and also from an online website, and this is not a one‑time situation but a long‑standing problem. The fact that these products continue to be sold in this condition, for me, means the sale of defective goods and gives the impression that customers are being knowingly victimized. Considering that this is a face sunscreen and is used regularly and intensively, I am seriously concerned about product safety and quality. My expectation from La Roche-Posay is that these products and the related series, which are clearly defective or not suitable for human use, be examined in detail, recalled from the market if necessary, and that my refunds be made in full. In order to restore the trust I once had in this brand, I request that the necessary investigations be carried out and that I be provided with a clear and written explanation as to whether the product is defective or potentially unsafe, and what actions will be taken regarding other products on the market.
