Trip.com Increased Flight Prices Repeatedly During Booking Attempt

While searching for a Rotterdam–Istanbul flight on Trip.com for July 17, 2026, I experienced serious frustration and inconvenience after using the system for approximately one hour.
The first price I saw for the ticket was €159. However, every time I attempted to proceed with the purchase at that amount, the system displayed warnings such as “only 4 seats left,” followed immediately by messages saying the seats were no longer available and instructing me to “try again.” Each time this happened, the ticket price increased further.
This issue occurred before I even reached the seat selection stage. Despite trying multiple times, I was never able to complete the booking at the original €159 price that was initially displayed to me.
I also could not find any reachable customer service phone number for Trip.com, which meant I had no direct way to report the issue or receive assistance while this was happening.
I request that Trip.com clearly explain this pricing and booking system, because I do not believe this is a normal or transparent practice. I also expect a written explanation regarding why the displayed price continuously changed during the booking process.
If possible, I would also like to be offered the opportunity to purchase the ticket at the original €159 price that was initially shown to me.
