The Kiko Lip Gloss I Bought for My Daughter Feels Sticky and Heavy on Her Lips

My 11-year-old daughter wanted a Kiko Milano lip gloss after seeing it online, so we purchased one for her. Unfortunately, the product turned out to be extremely sticky and heavy, making it uncomfortable to wear. She couldn’t use it at all.

After trying a friend’s gloss, she immediately noticed a difference and said, “Mine feels wrong—can we return it and get a different one?” We bought it about two months ago, and unfortunately, we no longer have the receipt.

I believe we were sold a product that may have been faulty or expired, because the texture and feel are completely off compared to others. I’m hoping Kiko can still help us with a replacement or exchange, despite not having the receipt. It’s disappointing for a child to be excited about something only to be let down by its quality.
