On Sunday, October 14, I purchased a subscription through the Investing.com website and paid approximately $40 as a one-time charge using my credit card. However, after purchasing the subscription, I realized that the data provided is delayed by about 15 minutes. This makes the service completely unsuitable for my intended use, and I do not consider the $40 I paid to be reasonable under these conditions.
I spent a long time searching the website to cancel the subscription, but I could not find any option to cancel it anywhere. While subscribing is extremely easy, canceling the subscription has been made nearly impossible, which has caused me serious frustration. Since there is no live support on the site, I was only able to contact them via email.
Yesterday, I emailed Investing.com requesting that my subscription be canceled and that a refund be issued. I was told that the issue would be resolved within 24 hours. However, nearly 48 hours have now passed, and no action has been taken and no solution has been provided. I am extremely dissatisfied with Investing.com’s approach, both due to how difficult the cancellation process is and because no response was provided within the promised timeframe.
I am requesting that my subscription be canceled immediately and that the $40 charged to my card be refunded. I want this issue and the inconvenience I experienced to be resolved as soon as possible.
