No Replacement for IKEA Alex Desk



I purchased an Alex Work Desk from IKEA in August 2022, and despite only using a damp cloth to wipe off dust weekly, it swelled up visibly from the surface. I reached out to IKEA's customer service and had a conversation with a representative. They instructed me to send product images to the email address [email protected]. I've shared the product images here as well. On September 11, 2023, I received an expert report via email, and I've attached the expert report image here. The conclusion is truly laughable. They claim that it swelled due to water exposure, and therefore, replacement is not possible. The fact that the desk swelled with such minimal moisture, despite my careful maintenance, highlights its poor quality.
