IKEA Ignored My Request to Replace Defective ESKILSTUNA Sofa Bed
I purchased an ESKILSTUNA sofa bed from the IKEA store in 2023, which was confirmed to have a manufacturing defect. An expert approved a replacement, yet no action has been taken by the store. Over the past weeks, I have made numerous attempts to resolve the issue, including repeated calls to customer service, where I was assured that the store would be informed, but no response or progress has been made. I also submitted an official request through IKEA’s website to ensure a record of my concern, but this too has gone unanswered. After exhausting all available channels and receiving no resolution, I am now preparing to escalate this matter to the consumer court. I request immediate action on the replacement or, at the very least, a formal response. This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards I expect from a reputable company like IKEA.
After filling out and submitting the form on the IKEA website and after complaints were posted on sikayetvar.com, the product was exchanged. Now we will set it up and see if the same problem occurs. Thank you to all parties involved.
