Our Hotels.com Reservation Was Canceled by the Hotel

Hello. We purchased a holiday through Hotels.com for check-in on August 30th and check-out on August 31st. The hotel's name was 'Gulet Tiny House Hotel' in Assos. We arrived from Bursa on Wednesday, August 30th. When we arrived, the hotel staff told us to wait, and they continued to let others in after us. Later, they took me to the owner of the hotel. The hotel owner claimed there was a mix-up, that they tried to call us but couldn't reach us, which was not true. Then, he said he arranged for another "wonderful" hotel for us without asking. The hotel he arranged was in the middle of the mountains. The Gulet hotel, for which we paid, was supposed to be by the seaside. We asked for a refund, and he gave it to us. Now, I'm upset about whether to be angry at the incompetence of Gulet Tiny House Hotel, their failure to call and inform us, their attempt to be cunning without losing a customer, or the hours spent on the road with my child and the money spent on fuel. Never pass by this hotel. I repeat once again, in front of their owner and staff who victimize people for the sake of money: there is no fool in front of you. Everyone understands everything.
