HDi Insurance Agency & As Visa Company Victimizing The Customer

On June 22, 2023, we had a one-year "Travel and Health Policy" issued by the trust insurance agency from HDi Insurance (within Istanbul As Visa). For visa procedures, both As Visa and Guven Insurance Agency (physically located in the Visa Building!) are required to; otherwise, even if visa procedures start, they mislead that visa will not be issued, and they sold the policy to us. Later, we learned that this was not a legal requirement (and confirmed by the relevant Hungarian Consulate) and requested "cancellation of the policy" (7-8 days before the policy start period). In our repeated telephone conversations, "Guven Insurance agency officer (I remember his name is Oguzhan)" also took things uphill by making excuses not to cancel the policy. Lastly, we made a complaint record to the customer representative of HDI Insurance at 08502228434, reporting the complaint we had about their respective agency. For the policy prepared in the electronic environment, they made the ramp where the policy can be canceled as a result of sending the wet signed policy copies to the agency. Although they were informed that 3 copies with wet signatures (one of which was sent to the relevant Hungarian Consulate by As visa insurance agency themselves) should not be valid in case of digital cancellation, our policy was not canceled and we conveyed our legal rights to them. Despite the fact that the policy is already valid in the electronic environment when the policy is printed (already at the stage of creation) and that it is "a formality" that the wet-signed copy is only given to us, the opposite understanding is displayed in the policy cancellation request. Namely; There is an understanding that takes the job uphill by requesting a wet signed copy before the policy fee is collected via mail order. The fact that it was not canceled for such a ridiculous reason is the most obvious proof that HDi Insurance is also an unreliable brand. I think this brand should be avoided.
