I have been using my Franke FDWS712A++ XS dishwasher for about five years. Previously, I experienced rusting and corrosion issues with the racks, and one of them was replaced about two years ago. However, a few weeks ago, I noticed that both racks have started to rust and corrode again.
When I contacted Franke’s authorized service, I was told that it might have happened because I placed dishes too firmly into the rack. However, I want to clarify that there has been no misuse on my part. The same issue had occurred with the first rack, which was replaced, and now both racks are deteriorating in the exact same way.
Even though my dishwasher is no longer under warranty, I find it unacceptable that the same issue has recurred twice in such a short time. I request that both racks be replaced free of charge and that this manufacturing-related issue be properly investigated and resolved.
