Novo Banco Must Refund MyIQ €39.90 Debit
On January 7, 2026, an amount of €39.90 was debited from my Novo Banco checking account in Portugal without any explanation or prior notice. I do not know the reason for this charge, and I did not authorize any payment or fee for this amount. So far, I have been unable to obtain any clarification from the bank regarding this transaction. I request that Novo Banco immediately cancel this charge and refund the €39.90 to my account, and that I be clearly informed of the reason why this amount was withdrawn without my consent.
