Franke FDWS712 Dishwasher Rusting After 3 Years and I’m Asked to Pay for Repairs

I've had the Franke FDWS712 dishwasher for approximately 3.5 years, and for more than a year, I've been dealing with rusting problem that appears to be worsening over time. After doing some research online, I learned that many other customers had encountered the same issue, leading me to believe that this is a typical problem with Franke dishwashers. When I contacted Franke, they offered to replace the rusty pieces, but only after I paid for them. Given the severity of the problem and its widespread recurrence, I feel Franke should repair the rusted pieces for free. I anticipate more help from a company like Franke, and I hope they reconsider their approach to fixing this issue.

Your relevant department called me and stated that this problem could also occur with other brands of dishwashers, that the plastic deteriorates due to the placement of plates, pans, pots, forks, knives, etc., and that this causes rusting. I used my previous dishwasher for more than 20 years and never encountered such a problem. I have never heard such a complaint from anyone around me either. Moreover, if I had used it for at least 10 years and this problem had started to occur, I might have said it could happen, as it is known that devices produced in recent years seem to be programmed to last a maximum of 10 years. However, as someone who has been using dishwashers for at least 30 years and has never experienced such a problem until now, I believe that this problem is not due to user error but rather due to a manufacturing defect/cheap material usage, etc. from the manufacturer, and I expect you to take the necessary action.

I am disappointed that the Franke company has not taken any action to satisfy its customer regarding my complaint. On the other hand, I find it unfitting for an institution with such a brand name to have an attitude that disregards potential customers by leaving a complaint unresolved. I hope they will come up with a solution proposal as soon as possible and eliminate this customer dissatisfaction.
