I Face Flight Network Booking Issues After Paying Twice For Wizz Air Services

We purchased tickets through the Flight Network website for a Wizz Air Ankara–Budapest flight scheduled for July 6, 2026. After completing the ticket purchase, we later purchased a cabin baggage allowance separately through Flight Network for the same flight. During this transaction, $77 was charged to our card on July 1, 2026, and we received a confirmation email stating that the baggage purchase had been approved.

However, when we arrived at the airport, Wizz Air representatives told us that they could not see any cabin baggage allowance in their system and that we needed to make another payment to use this service. Because of this, we had to pay Wizz Air an additional €60 in cash at the airport for the cabin baggage. The airline informed us that we needed to contact Flight Network, the intermediary company, regarding the missing baggage allowance in their system.

We contacted Flight Network and explained the situation in detail. We informed them that although we had received a confirmation email for the baggage purchase, the service was not visible in the airline’s system, which forced us to pay a second time. Flight Network stated that they had started the refund process, and we also completed and submitted the refund request form they asked for through their email. However, despite the time that has passed, we still have not received any refund.

We also experienced a second issue related to the same flight. Approximately 12 hours before departure, Flight Network sent us a check-in reminder email. However, the flight details in this email were incorrect, and it did not direct us to the correct flight’s check-in page. Although we tried to complete online check-in for the correct flight, it was not possible. As a result, we could not complete the online check-in process, and when we arrived at the airport, Wizz Air charged us an additional check-in fee of €45 per person, totaling €135, because we had not completed online check-in. We were forced to pay this amount in cash as well.

We believe we suffered direct financial losses because Flight Network failed to reflect the cabin baggage purchase in the airline’s system and also sent a check-in reminder email containing incorrect flight information.

We request that Flight Network fully reimburse the $77 cabin baggage payment charged to our card on July 1, 2026, as well as the €135 check-in fees we paid in cash at the airport. We ask Flight Network to take responsibility, resolve this matter quickly, and implement necessary measures to prevent similar issues from happening to other customers.
