I’ve been a loyal Ecco customer for years, exclusively wearing their shoes because of their comfortable soles. Even before Ecco was available in Turkey, I would order my pairs from Germany. However, my recent experience with two pairs of Ecco shoes has been incredibly disappointing. Both my gray and white sneakers, purchased during a sale in 2022, tore in the exact same spot on each pair’s leather. This is not on the seams or where the sole meets the shoe, but on the leather itself! I’ve never seen such an issue before, and it's clearly not user error.
On top of this, I also bought a pair of Ecco winter boots at a high price, expecting them to be durable and waterproof. Instead, both boots have developed huge holes in the ankle area, which isn’t even a part of the shoe that typically experiences wear. It’s absurd – these aren’t even areas that touch the ground.
Seeing that others are experiencing the same issue, I suspect Ecco might be selling lower-quality products in Turkey. I plan to share this experience widely, as I feel misled and disappointed. It’s frustrating to spend so much on shoes that should be high-quality but instead fall apart so easily.
