We purchased two pairs of Ecco Gore-Tex shoes, advertised as waterproof, expecting quality and durability. However, both pairs developed tears in the fabric along the same spot within a short period. When we returned them to the store, they simply took photos without even examining the shoes in person, telling us, "We’ll get back to you." After waiting a month, we called to follow up and were told it was “user error.” I explained that one pair had the issue while the other did not, proving it wasn’t our fault, but they still blamed us and refused any assistance. We trusted Ecco for quality, but now realize we’ve wasted our money. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and won’t buy from Ecco again.
