EasyJet Lost My Paid 26kg Bag and Offered Me Just £120 Without Receipts

On my February 1, 2025 flight from Bristol to Istanbul, EasyJet lost my 26kg checked luggage—which I had paid extra for. It's been 45 days, and they still haven’t located my suitcase. It’s as if it vanished into thin air. After the legal search period expired, I submitted a compensation claim along with an itemized list totaling £270 worth of belongings. EasyJet now says they’ll only pay £120 because I don’t have physical receipts for every item. And that’s if they don’t come up with another excuse to reduce or deny the payout altogether. Honestly, had I known they’d lose my luggage, I would have kept every single store receipt. This trip to the UK has already cost me enough—both financially and emotionally. EasyJet needs to take full responsibility for this unacceptable mistake and compensate me fairly. I’ll never fly with them again.
