On June 18, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 9:20 AM, I called Dyson customer service and spoke with a representative named Y*****. I explained that my V15 Detect Absolute vacuum's suction power had significantly decreased, and I suspected an air leak. She immediately dismissed my concerns, claiming that any wear on the dustbin was merely "cosmetic" and therefore, they couldn't help me.
Only after I insisted did she "graciously" agree to let me demonstrate the poor suction. She actually had me sprinkle half a tablespoon of dry tea leaves on the carpet and run the vacuum over it five times. Despite clearly seeing that the tea remained on the carpet, she still insisted there was no problem with my vacuum! It was only through my repeated insistence and demands that she finally "condescended" to suggest sending my head attachment to service, even though my vacuum is still under warranty and she maintained there was no issue.
The real problem, which I explicitly stated, is with the dustbin, not the head attachment! They completely ignored my primary concern, focusing on sending a perfectly clean head to service. Dyson, you need to address the actual problem with my V15 Detect Absolute's dustbin and loss of suction! Stop denying obvious defects and provide real solutions for your customers. Fix my vacuum now!
