I purchased a Dyson V15 Absolute Detect vacuum expecting long-term quality and reliability. But after just 2.5 years, the battery has completely failed. It won’t charge at all—whether I plug it in or attach it to the vacuum, nothing happens.

When I contacted customer service, they simply told me that my warranty had expired and that a replacement battery would cost ₺5,200. I find it incredibly disappointing that a product marketed as premium has a battery life this short. For a vacuum at this price point, the battery should last significantly longer.

Dyson, you need to stand behind your products. A battery dying after 2.5 years should not be treated as acceptable wear. I’m asking for support—either a free or reasonably priced replacement—and for Dyson to revisit its warranty policies on such critical components. This experience is not what I expected from a brand that promises quality.

"I was contacted and told that the battery would be replaced by calling the service, because there was no battery in stock. I was told that a payment of around 5900 TL would be required. I sent it today. Since the battery life is 2 years, I don't want to pay a high battery price for the vacuum every 2 years. I am renewing the battery once as a one-time thing, and I will probably throw it away in 2 years. It makes much more sense to buy a new vacuum from another company. I don't recommend it to anyone. Thank you for the courteous response."
