Domestika Refused Refund For Subscription I Never Agreed To
In May 2025, I purchased the course “Composición musical para estudiantes” on Domestika under order number C47035747T30331730, paying through PayPal. At the time of purchase, the information and advertising presented to me referred only to the purchase of that specific course, including details about the product and access to the platform related solely to that purchase.
At no point was it clearly disclosed that I would be subscribed to Domestika Plus or that any recurring charge would be created as part of the transaction.
However, on May 11, 2026, a charge of $209.02 USD for Domestika Plus was processed on my account without my authorization. I want to make it absolutely clear that I have never used any of the services associated with the Domestika Plus subscription, never accessed any additional subscriber content, and never knowingly accepted the start of any free trial period.
My only intention was to purchase the individual course mentioned above under the conditions presented in the advertisement. I never intended to subscribe to any additional membership or recurring payment service.
Domestika also did not send me any prior notification clearly requesting my consent to continue with a subscription renewal, nor did I receive any explicit request to confirm a trial period that would later convert into a paid subscription plan.
After contacting Domestika support regarding this issue, I was informed that refunds are not provided for Domestika Plus subscriptions under any circumstances. I consider this response unfair because the charge was neither clearly disclosed nor expressly authorized by me, and I have not used the subscription services at all.
For these reasons, I respectfully request a full refund of the $209.02 USD charged for Domestika Plus and the immediate cancellation of any active or future subscription associated with my account.
I also request that my case be reviewed carefully, as I believe the way this subscription was applied does not comply with principles of transparent information, informed consent, and fair consumer practices that should govern this type of digital service.
In addition, no invoice was generated or provided for this charge.
